The All Assam Gorkha Students Union, and Gorkha Mahila Samity of the Guwahati City Committee have called for peace in Assam.
In a candle light rally, the AAGSU organized at Guwahati, speakers strongly protested the massacre of Adivasis in lower Assam and called for unity to take a stand against NDFB(S).
Nearly 80 people including women and children were shot dead by NDFB(S) militants in a recent attack on over 6 villages.
