Gurgaon racial hate crime case against three Gorkha Youths from Darjeeling Attempt to Murder Charge Added to the List of Charges
The North East Nodal Officer of Gurgaon Mr. Deepak Saharani DCP has informed that the charges of Attempt to Murder under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code have been added to the existing list of charges against the 5 arrested accused :
1. Naresh s/o Billu a resident of Nathupur (Son of Landlord) .
2. Rampal s/o Devisingh
3. Gaurav s/o Girender
4. Bhure singh s/o Ransingh
5. Balram s/o Harilal caste Gupta
The 5 accused arrested in relation to the brutal beating up of three men from Darjeeling case, will now have to FIR updated under sections 307, 147,148,149,323,506,452 of the Indian Penal Code.
Sources have stated that the charges of attempt to murder were added following the medical examination of all the victims.
Protesters from Gorkha and other communities of North East who are assembled today were demanding the addition of Sections 307 and 147A to the charges.
Apparently, during the protest one of the Sub-Inspectors misbehaved with, and abused female protesters and used racist terms to incite them, in front of his senior officer DCP east Gurgaon Deepak Sharan, IPS premises while seeking for justice against our 3 Gorkha youths.
One of the protesters asked, "is this what our agencies, police are for??"
The misbehaving sub-inspector is seen here standing at the back, please help to identify him.
