First Ever All Gorkhas Meet at Delhi for a Common Cause

All Gorkha ( NGOs, students,activists, employees associations, women activists) of Delhi & NCR united for their common cause and had brain storming discussion with Delhi Police Nodal Officer at Office of Special Unit for Northeast Region, New Delhi.

All Gorkha ( NGOs, students,activists, employees associations, women activists) of
Delhi with Robin Hibu Nodal Officer for North East Region.

Following action plan have been decided for all Gorkhas on 14.7.15.

•  Formation of non political GYASA..Gorkha Youth and Students Association at Delhi.
• To have more interaction with Delhi police for DPNE Representatives from Gorkhas.
• To mobilize all resources for encouraging brilliant students.
• To endeavor for making Gorkha Bhavan more interactive for welfare of Gorkhas in distress at Delhi.
• To have common annual Gorkhas Day at Delhi. 
• Nodal Officer of Delhi Police shown them power point presentation on initiatives taken by Delhi police for Northeast people at Delhi.
• To have more interactive and support with other 8 northeast eastern states students unions for common grievances at Delhi.
• To start self defense training for Gorkhas girls at Delhi by Delhi police females self defense team immediately. GYASA and other Ngos will choose time, venue, date etc .
• Had multiple questions and answers session on variety of topics. 
• GYASA and other NGOs and all participants will popularize NE Helpline 1093 and Facebook. ..
