Four Gorkhali Archers from the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration region have been selected to compete at the National Archery Tournament following their exceptional performance in the recently held state championship.
Showing exceptional talent Kalimpong ITBCI student Liram Lepcha who competed at the Under 14 category won Gold at state championships and she even outscored and beat the records set by senior male and female archers.
In the Under 17 male category Punal Lepcha from SUMI stood second in the state championships.
They will join two players from Darjeeling and will compete at the National School Games which will he held from 11th of November in Ranchi.
