Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has invited applications for recruitment to various positions by engaging eligible candidates to the grade of Sub divisional engineer (telecom).
The vacancies will be filled through the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion of grade of sub divisional engineer under 33% quota as per provision in the recruitment rule of sub divisional engineer.
Vacancies-
There are a total of 3296 vacant positions including backlog posts to be filled up against the vacancy years from 2010-11 onwards.
2010-11- 2025 posts
2011-12- 273 posts
2012-13- 323 posts
2013-14- 675 posts
Eligibility-
For details of eligibility criteria, candidates must visit the official notification for proper details.
Selection Process-
Eligible candidates will be called for a written test to shortlist them for final recruitment.
Paper pattern-
The examination will be conducted in two paper format:
PaperI- General paper with a total of 100 marks and 100 questions
PaperII- Advance Technical Special paper with a total of 100 marks and 100 questions.
The examination will be conducted by the heads of territorial circles including NTR, Chennai and kolkata Telephone Ditts. and will be held at such centres as may be fixed by them.
