Mirik: With an aim to develop the Panighatta High School into a model school, Gorkhaland Terrotorial Administration has approved a budget of one and half crore rupees. Gorkha Janmukti Morcha Panighatta unit committee secretary Dinesh Cintury said the fund has been approved by the GTA and the renovation work of school building has also been stated.
Cintury said the Terai residents have a lot of expectations that the GTA will promote development activities in the region. He also asserted the GJM is committed on solving the unemployment problem and foster development in the Terai area. He also took the opportunity to thank GTA chief executive Bimal Gurung for looking after the educational needs of the region.
