Hill TMC forms new committee in Mirik

The hill Trinamool Congress (TMC) today formed the Milikthung Baklo Gaon branch committee in the presence of Block Samiti president Rajesh Chettri. The newly formed committee elected Pradip Tamang as its president, Dil Bahadur Rai as vice-president, Dhurva Pradhan secretary, Bikash Tamang as vice-secretary and Babita Chettri as treasurer. The members also conducted a meeting where strategies for the future were discussed. Rajen Chettri claimed around 80 per cent of the total population of in Mirik has entered the TMC fold.
