Seems like Kalimpong is in a awkward teenager phase, where it continues to remain in the news for all the wrong reasons.
Late last night a discussion amongst two people turned violent, with one of them getting admitted in the hospital with stab wounds.
According to sources, around 11:30 P.M a scuffle broke out between Joremaney, Sindheybung resident Mr. Kumar Pradhan and Mr. Gyantshering Lepcha.
The scuffle turned violent when Kumar Pradhan allegedly stabbed Gyantshering in stomach and his left hand. Mr. Gyantshering is admitted to the sub-divisional hospital, and his condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile police have arrested Kumar Pradhan and has been presented before the magistrate.
