A major Earthquake jolts North India and Nepal today on April 25 , 2015 quake lasted for 15 to 20 seconds. As per the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the quake with magnitude 7.5 was Lamjung near Pokhara in Nepal.

Tremors were also felt in several parts of North and Eastern India. Tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar and as far as Sikkim and Darjeeling. The earthquake-report.com reported that the quake was of about 4.5 Magnitude or more in Inaia and 7.5 in Nepal.

Some buildings have been damaged in the quake but there was no initial word on any casualties.
